anyone want to help me find one of these???

so it's been decided for a while now that we are going to get a dog. well, we think we are. it seems like since day 1 everything is thwarting our efforts. basically it all started when Anson found the perfect dog - a maltipoo. since that fateful day we've been obsessed and really want one. first - we found the right dog, set up a meeting with the owner and wham - i got hired on as a full-time teacher (definitely NOT complaining. i L.O.V.E. my job. seriously.) now we have the time (summers off baby!!) and i can't find one for the life of me! this probably wouldn't be a problem except we are looking for a very specific kind of dog and we refuse to pay the insane breeders expensive asking price ($1500 for a dog? waaayyyy too expensive. how can you feel remotely humane asking so much for a puppy when dogs are put to sleep everyday at the animal shelters? and sold for much less? awful). anyways, here is your charge - if you happen to find one of these precious maltipoos for a reasonable price, TELL ME. please and thank you :)
